Every team that attends the Capital Region Tournament must provide two adult volunteers to serve as tournament Appraisers.
Appraisers must be 18 years old or older to volunteer.

Teams have the option to opt out of providing one or more of their required Appraisers by paying a $100 fee for each missing Appraiser. The $100 fee(s) must be paid at the time of team registration. The deadline to register a team is Saturday, January 4, 2020.
The fee missing Appraiser fee will increase to $150 for each missing Appraiser on January 5, 2020.
The missing Appraiser fee will increase to $175 for each missing Appraiser on January 26, 2020.
The missing Appraiser fee will increase to $200 for each missing Appraiser on February 1, 2020.
Teams who do not pay their missing Appraiser fees or provide 2 Appraisers no later than February 1, 2020 will not be scheduled for tournament.
Appraisers may choose a Challenge to Appraise. Video clips on each Challenge can be viewed through a pull down tab on our website.
Appraisers may NOT Appraise
the same Challenge as the team
they are representing. If an Appraiser knowingly appraises for the team they are representing the team can face a deduction or be disqualified. All scores for an Apprasier who knowlingly Appraises for his or her team will be removed for the entire day.
Once an Appraiser has been assigned to a Challenge, they will be notified via email from the Capital Region Appraiser Coordinator and the Challenge Master for their assigned challenge.
ALL Appraisers must attend 1/2 day of training. Instant Challenge Appraisers will work the Instant Challenge Scrimmage as part of their training.

ALL Apprasiers must Appraise at the Capital Region Tournament on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Connally High School.
As an Appraiser, you will be provided breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages. All Appraisers will be given a tournament t-shirt to wear at tournament.

We will be advancing teams teams from the Capital Region to the Texas Affiliate Tournament.
The Texas Affiliate Tournament will be Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Arlington, Texas.
Dinner Friday, Breakfast, and lunch on Staurday will be covered by the Affiliate. Hotel rooms are covered for double occupancy guests. A t-shirt will be provided to wear on Saturday.
